This week and next week you will receive information about ‘respite strategies’. Respite strategies are things you can do to make the most of your respite time and/or things you can do with the person you support that may provide you with respite. You may not have considered strategies to be a type of respite before! Please share your thoughts about this with other carers. We realise it may be daunting to share your experiences, but a lot of carers find it helpful to chat with people going through similar things as them.
