Hello fellow carers,
This week’s topic is about counselling and support groups as a respite strategy for both people with dementia and carers. You may not have considered counselling or support groups to be a forum of respite, however they can help you in your caring role and therefore may be considered respite. What do you think about this?
Have you ever been to a counsellor or support group to discuss your experiences of being a carer? If so, what were your experiences?
